Nov. 26, 2020 AR 2786 and 2785

Post by Astrophil »

Hi All,

A beautiful Thanksgiving day for some solar imaging. The active region 12786 was irresistible today. On band and off band images were taken with the 6" Mak and Solar Spectrum filter.

Phil

Very nice images Phil. You captured everything so well. I especially love the twisting turning form of that plage. I could see it easy visually today as well.

Thank you all for the great comments. This increased solar activity is quite exciting. I began Ha imaging about three years ago and have never seen this much activity. I captured a full disk image with a LS 80 today so I would not forget.
