Hi,
Lucky to have a clear patch.
EQ5 127mm triplet -150mm 35nm KG3 Omega 1.5A Blocker PST +150mm Clave' 2x Barlow Clave' 25mm
Could see the Omega is a second looking down, assuming.
Tried the ES 2x TE first but not good and not quiet 2x
One slightly off axis reflection. Missing faint ones further off, off axis skylight in Mak180? Did not seem as good as Mak180.
11.35 UT Clear Still. Some seeing wobble over garage and heated houses
02.00 Gong
07.00 OClock Hedge prominence. Block with bar above right, lower dim hedge, arch with flat top
05.00 Gong
11.00 OClock Something dim
07.00 Gong
02.00 OClock Hedge Prominence
12.05 UT Seeing wobbly
127mm Triplet 35nm KG3 2x ES TE 7nm Combo Prominence Clave' 25mm
02.00 Gong
07.00 OClock More details than PST. Hedge prominence. Block with bar above right, lower dim hedge, arch with flat top

Change to Combo Chromosphere
02.00 Gong
07.00 OClock Hedge prominence. - Block with bar above right, lower dim hedge, arch with flat top
05.00 Gong
11.00 OClock Can see 3 faint proms like mushrooms. - Something dim
07.00 Gong
02.00 OClock Fainter than Prominence. - Hedge Prominence
Change to 3x Vision King TE
02.00 Gong
07.00 OClock Lots of fine details Diffuse hedge wider at the top. Shorter double bar. Bar leaning to the left. - Hedge prominence. Block with bar above right, lower dim hedge, arch with flat top
05.00 Gong
11.00 OClock Something dim
07.00 Gong
02.00 OClock A continuum pyramid prom with hollow base, Little wide prom, Upright spray. - Hedge Prominence
Change to 4.2x Quark
02.00 Gong
07.00 OClock See details. - Hedge prominence. Block with bar above right, lower dim hedge, arch with flat top
05.00 Gong
11.00 OClock 3 faint proms. - Something dim
07.00 Gong
02.00 OClock Faint. Wrists and pair of hands touching at the top with a bright spot between them. Low small separated hedge. Hedge prominence with small base - Hedge Prominence
01.10 UT
Return to VK 3x TE and 7nm Combo Prominence 25mm Clave'
02.00 Gong
07.00 OClock See more details with more dynamic range than the Chromosphere. Brighter V with bottom filled, Bar leaning down slightly, H, low hedge - Hedge prominence.
Chromosphere: I could see the dark markings across the surface, not as good as last time. I could not see the filaments or the bright spot shown on the Learmonth Gong image.
So:
PST - Try back on the Mak180. I have a dew shield now and look at routing out a front baffle for it. On the Vixen VMC110 RodAstro added baffles to the secondary and top of the primary baffle and that reduced the more off axis reflections.
Quarks. Continue on 127mm. Good details in the prominences at 3x and 4.2x.
Try the Chromosphere on the 100mm F5 stopped down to F42 with the 4.2x again for surface details. Rod Astro says best at F40.
Cheers. Andrew.
