29-1-2021 THE PROMS - HAVE IT TODAY

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

No spots are really visible today - Friday and no sign (yet) of any more occurring over the next few days...

But there are certainly some very nice proms (as shown in the SDO image) today at around 1100z...

Cheers
Terry

Indeed Alexandra, quite a spectacular proms image as from SDO.
Will be nice to see some from the SolarChatters...

Yeah, fantastic proms today. I had a few hours of clear sky this afternoon. Not had time to process the images yet. Just a quick one stacked and put in ImaPPG. Just a screen shot. Will post when all done. You asked Terry, lol.

I certainly did ask Nigella and your attached "Two Tree & Hedge Proms" are absolutely fabulous, so very well done.
You've come-up with the goods for today, so will look forward to others from you - and indeed anybody else - please...

Thanks vm
Terry

Though I could see them I never could get a good view of them. Very poor seeing reduced resolution tremendously for me today. Even 20x views were fuzzy!

Well at least Marios, your rain will be somewhat welcome in Cyprus, which I believe is a relatively rare-occurrence - compared to here in the UK.
At least though, you have the advantage of much warmer temps at this time of the year, than we have as typically 17C for you and -0 to 5C here.

CLEAR SKIES soon
Terry
