Full disk 20-02-2021

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

Another day with no wind and not even a breeze and sky conditions were very good with a tiny hint of smog but today a good White Light image together with the H-alpha images.

The feather like prominence is about ten Earth diameters long :o

Spots well seen in White light but not in H-alpha

As usual best seen in full size in a new tab/window :bow

Hi Rainer,
I must totally agree with James's comments.

You've so well captured the proms and filaments and even the spots too.
That spike-filament has come out as good as SDO too. (it is still there at 2100z as the attached shows)...

Thanks vm for sharing again
Terry

The long prominence is amazing Rainer, I wonder if it lifted off?

Fabulous to see the spots in the NE too, these are terrific images :bow :hamster:
