Full disc 23-03-2021

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

Surprise. New Spot AR 12812 is in the NOrtheastern quadrant and embossed made me the honour to emboss my initial letter " R " on the Sun's surface

Nice row of spots of AR 12811 and a nice spot with penumbra on the upper side of the umbra.

As usual best seen in full size in a new tab/window :bow2

You and Pedro Re' are probably the most reliable here for a clear hi-def view of the Sun when I am under clouds. On average I think you two have some of the best seeing and clearest skies around!

The northern active belt is visible easily in your Ha solar image. The active areas and disturbances mark a path 3/4 of the way across the northern hemisphere. Those spots show up really well in your white light images too!

And you have the Sun monogrammed with your initial " R ". That's even better than a SPOD!!!

Great disks Rainer! Thanks for sharing, means I can see the sun when I have to go to work and / or if it is cloudy! (usually both!)

Beautiful images, again, Rainer. Nice to see the Sun has honoured you with the ‘R’.

Exciting to see activity levels increasing again.

I can't see the R, I have looked and looked :(

Come on Alexandra, you are joking

Do you see it now with a little help using the grid as a vertical stroke for the back of the " R " ?
