3-27-21 Playing in Ha

Post by torsinadoc »

I had questionable conditions but wanted to try to DS my Daystar and Lunt 100 FHS. I need to work on tuning the Lunt (nearly impossible on the 102/F11 scope). I hope to 3d print the tuning device in the next week or two.

I would prefer two 100 FHa to use with the 102F11 but this would require an adapter to mate the two FHa modules. Also the weight off the front of the scope would be massive

Thanks. I still need to work on tuning the Lunt. The Andover filter does improve contrast but I have to boost the gain a fair amount to keep exposure at 10ms. The DS I had to adjust gamma and gain.

That Lunt100 looks to be a very good etalon, it is certainly on band and also even across the fov.

Wonderful images :bow :hamster: an Andover 1.7A certainly gives more contrast to the image :hamster:

It looks quite good. You are not very far from having a winner configuration !
