Sunny 5th April 2021

Post by Montana »

Well, no snow here just clear blue skies all day with a very icy wind. The skies were crystal blue but as a cold front had passed overnight I knew the seeing would be bad. However, not that bad, probably the worst I have ever seen. I couldn't barely see the Sun in CaK, it was like looking through the C11  so don't look too closely at these images :)

with a 3x barlow (bit of a joke, but then I use a C11...)

Then changed to the Solarscope DSF100 / FLIR Grasshopper 3

Morning Alexandra.
Considering the cold. windy and seeing conditions, you have certainly very-well captured the action (or lack of it - except the proms & AR2813)...

Thanks for sharing
Terry

They came out well given the conditions, it was just nice to have some sunshine for a change.

Very nice, Alexandra. Your HA FDs with the Solarscope are sublime. Nice calcium images too under challenging conditions.
