Seeing was on point today so i went on a capturing spree and ran out of drive space.
Esprit 150 with Daystar Gemini in Chrom mode and the Lunt Herschel Wedge for white light.

Wow, really nice set of images < I would like get images that show the surface detail and proms , do you overlay or something like that, still trying to figure out how to do that

The images that show surface and proms are not overlays or composite images. They are shot and processed as is.
Shooting in 16 bit (ASI174MM is actually only getting 12 bit) allows you to see more than what is there. The processing that i use allows for both to show up at the same time.

You not only have excellent processing skills, excellent equipment but also outstanding seeing. The mottles are resolved into spicules and your white light images are incredible with the granules clearly resolved. I am humbled by your images. Hats off to you with this wonderful set of solar goodies!!

Cool photos! And how do you show prominences in chromosphere images? Do you do this in Photoshop using masks?
