Hello everyone: another sunny morning with below average seeing. All the high res .ser files went directly to the trash bin. I used the Solarmax 90 stopped down to 70mm for a two image mosaic and an image of the large prom. Hoping for better conditions starting next month.

Hey Franco, you've certainly captured some excellent captures and the negative-version hi-lights the spots so well, even though there are now many more in the region.

Thanks for sharing
Terry

Thank you Terry, James and Mark for your comments. The season when I get the best conditions here is usually May to November, so there is hope.

Those came out quite nicely despite conditions not exactly working in your favour, Franco.

Nicely done, Franco. We have to work within the conditions nature throws our way, as Mark has so aptly demonstrated on many occasions :). Stopping down was the right approach. Great results.

Thank you Jochen, Pedro and Stu. Stu: you are right, we must learn to work with the conditions we are given and I am thankful to the friends on Solarchat that share techniques and methods to adapt to the conditions. Mark T and Alexandra are always very generous in that respect. Thank you !
