In just a few-hours, suddenly the newbie AR2020 has exploded into as many as 11-spots and not far from the single AR2018 spot in the south.
Other AR's seem to be receding somewhat...
Sorry, that SpaceWeatherLive.com seem to always/often put the AR-numbers over the top of the AR's themselves, so perhaps if they read these posts themselves, they might correct that mistake and I can only apologise for themselves...

Re: 25-4-2021 AR2020 HAS EXPLODED INTO ACTION !!
I noticed this new AR near 12808 on the SDO images today also. I had clouds/rain and could not observe it directly today. Hopefully weather and time will allow me a little observing time tomorrow.

Sorry to hear of your "not so good" weather James. I could say that - if you quickly move to near my location, you would approve of our nice weather for a change, but I won't say that...
Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to capture this new event...

Good news Terry. I've woken to overcast skies this morning with scudding cloud, i'm hoping it clears up sharpish before the seeing takes a nose dive, these easterlies are never the best for stable air for me...

Thanks Mark and yes today we are both suffering from the effect of the cloud coming-in from the East and North Sea. I was hoping to at least play with the WL scope and some Barlow's and also the polarizer too, but fear that will not happen today at least...
