Catch up 17th April 2021

Post by Montana »

Big catch up over the next few days. Let's start with the 17th April 2021. I can't really remember the seeing but I think it was very good.

Start off with C11 stopped to 10" / ARIES ERF / 2.5x Powermate / Lunt CaK wedge / ASI174

This was the only salvageable image

Immediately swapped to TEC140 stopped down to 100mm / 5x Powermate / Lunt CaK wedge / ASI174

Hi,

Very good. Interesting about stopping down. Is there really a difference between 140 mm and 100 mm ?

The Solarscope is doing very well, with top processing !
The TEC is definitely the winner when it comes to Ca K.

Wow, what a wonderful set of images! Your Solarscope images never seem to disappoint and the inverted ones are particularly striking.
Very nice, Alexandra.

Brilliant work, Alexandra.
Your Solarscope looks excellent, high resolution noise less detailed images, fantastic !

I have a lot of catching up to do as well on my solar work.

Magnus.

Lovely captures Alexandra, it takes time if you're busy to get through the backlog. I've a few days from April still to do and of course May. I need to get the April stuff done and sent off to the BAA. Thanks for sharing.
