Ha-Watercolor May 10th, 2021

Post by oreoluna »

Hello everybody.
Ha-Watercolor, how do you do something like that
All you need is the right sky, conveniently with one....

Image

and then it works with the watercolor without any problems!

And painted it in a stylish way ... delicious.

In spite of everything, the results still have enough potential to be able to look at such details better afterwards:

Very nice indeed, Jozef. Amazing that you captured any detail at all through THAT sky.

Hello Stu.
Thanks. Give it a try, with an evenly covered sky. Protuberances are hardly possible, the surface is not a problem, but with little contrast. That can be edited. Seeing is usually very good when the sky is white, as the layers of air are separated.

Thanks Jozef, I have always not bothered to set up during that type of sky, I may just try in future.

I agree, your work is the best!

Hello sun friends.
Thank you for the very friendly feedback. I am very happy when my documentaries are appreciated. There is often a lot of work behind it.

@Alexandra: "" I have always not bothered to set up during that type of sky, ""
Yes, very few dare to do that, because one thinks that is a bad assumption. It can only be used well with narrow-band Ha filters.

@Franco: "" Swiss precision! ""
Like chocolate, cheese and watches ..... :D

It is a self-made solar telescope with ISTAR 8 inch f6 objective and weight of almost 22 kg and its helpers.

Image

Above left: Motorized 2.5 “Moonlite extract. Without that, you focus yourself to death.
Above right: Baader iris diaphragm and behind it in the tube placed the 160 Baader D-ERF energy protection filter in its own changeable frame. The iris diaphragm is an asset, i.e. being able to stop the lens down at any time without any effort. E.g. if I change the 4x TV Powermate for the 2X TV Powermate, I just have to stop down and it goes on with a 2.4m focal length for large fields. ;)
Bottom left: AiryLab Solar Scintillation Monitor. Admittedly, you don't have to have it, but it's interesting for me because I measure every observation in order to see how the seeing has decreased significantly over the years at my location ..... and I spend more and more time lurking spend good sequences.
Bottom right then: A sun guide from Hinode is used so that the whole thing remains at the targeted location on the sun even at 4.8m focal length.
