Sun in three lights 11th May 2021

Post by Carbon60 »

Here's a crop of images from this morning before 9:00am when the clouds started to roll in.

First up are the full disks in Ca II K and Ha showing nicely the main features AR2822 and AR2823 and proms in Ha.

...and AR2823 using the same setup.

Over to Ca II K on a Tecnosky 125mm/B1800 Lunt CaK module/Basler acA1920-155um/PM x 5

Here's the same region at 540nm (continuum) using a Lacerta WL wedge on the Tecnosky 125mm.

Brilliant captures Stu and we were probably work at the same time to get these this morning as the clouds rolled in too soon.

Weirdly enough, I was considering do one of my WL captures in green, when going through the palette - too.

The close-ups and the proms are Fab..
Thanks for sharing
