May 9: Some close-ups.
Hi Everyone.
Here's a collection of images taken in H alpha and Ca-K on May 9. They are close-ups of AR12822 and emerging flux region S6852 (which has since developed into AR12823). H-alpha shots were taken with the C8 Edge / Daystar 0.6A QPE system and Ca-K shots were done with the Stellarvue 115mm f7, Lunt B1800 module and associated homemade optics. The H-alpha images are shown in inverted format also.
Cheers.
Peter

Re: May 9: Some close-ups.
Thanks for your kind words, everyone.
I had a bout of relatively good seeing and, as luck would have it, I was able to take advantage of it.
All the best.

Re: May 9: Some close-ups.
That CaK close up is looking real juicy! Im still on the fence about getting a CaH Quark or the Magnesium. Still have not decided.
