Indeed Simon WL is fairly challenging compared to Ha and Cal-K, which themselves are not always easy either.
Your WL captures are very well acquired and processed and thanks for sharing
I've just completed the order for a new scope for WL & Lunar and DS, to replace the existing ORION ED80T-CF. Details of which will be given when acquired in early June, where I gather from the importing-agent, I will be the first one in the UK to get this model.
CLEAR SKIES please
Terry

Re: May 13 2021 More White Light
Thanks for asking Simon, but until it has actually landed at my home, I'll keep "Mum" just in case...!!!
I can say though that the current-scope (to be replaced by the newbie), has a problem where there is "xrap" in-side the front element/objective, which has been investigated on the clean-bench and utilizing a vacuum-designed cleaning system etc., to no avail.
Being an ORION ED80T-CF using carbon-fiber, it is not possible to remove the objective from the carbon-tube for better access and rectification. There have been three other design/manufacturing snags from new with this scope, which have been referred to the seller, but no response from that seller or manufacturer, ultimately meaning that no other products from or via those two - will be entertained - in future.
Bad service or manufacture/design - is not something I will ever support with my dosh...
Cheers
Terry
