Great job, all shots are amazing. Great detail.

Wonderful animation, you can see the boiling of the chromosphere, the granules go up and down, a bewitching sight.

The granulation is actually in the photosphere lying below the chromosphere.

Only in professional images have I seen the granules " boil " this plainly and this clearly. You did an excellent job on this Paul! What scope and filters where you using on the photosphere images?

Very impressive! Interesting how the boiling is directed outward from the spot. Again learned a new feature of the sun. The magnetic fields surely are powerful.

a new mount, 200mm achromatic objective diaphragm at 170 / 180mm (because my focuser is too narrow in this assembly and it causes a diaphragm), Astrosolar 3.8, ASI174MM, Barlow 2X, Baader continuum filter.
