I didn't expect much today from a sky covered with wispy streamers but the seeing was actually better than usual. Unfortunately, the stacking was difficult because the wispy clouds crossing the sun were interpreted as solar features
and produced a mess in most cases. Two exceptions allowed capture of 2 of the larger prom features.
The first image was taken with a 180mm Mak with a 1.5X telecentric producing a f/22 beam (efl = 4050mm) for a Quark Combo Chromosphere.

The second image was taken with a 180mm Mak with a 2X Powermate producing a f/30 beam (efl = 5400mm) for a Quark Combo Chromosphere.

My problem with disabled gamma om my Grasshopper(2.3Mp) was solved, helped by P. Zetner's suggestion about setting the video mode to 7. I also had to uncheck "Advanced mode" at the top of the video mode page. Also, for some reason, the camera defaults to RAW format when started up. This had to be manually changed to Mono before the gamma control was allowed. I have to find out whether the default settings can be altered.
I've yet to find out why Firecapture disables the gamma control with either my Blackfly S or my Grasshopper.
I use Firecapture 2.7beta with Spinnaker for the Blackfly S and Firecapture 2.6 with the latest Flycapture for the Grasshopper.

Those turned out nice! How do you prevent tube currents on the mak? Insulation?

Hi, torsinadoc
The only change I've thought about making to reduce tube currents is to use a reflective insulator on the outside of the tube but I have not done that yet until I find a suitable product.
