I imaged the sun for 150 days in a row starting from 25th December 2020 till 23rd May 2021. This image comprises of all the 150 images taken on these days.
In the last 150 days we have seen a total of 31 active regions, from AR12794 to AR12824.
There were a quite a few days with clouds, but most of the days were clear with moderate to good seeing.

Very nice work!! My observations would be comparable though I am no where near your photos. Rainer also is a very frequent imager. You are one of the few here who use a DSLR. Most use the small monochrome videocams, ZWO being very popular.
Again, very nice work!

Thanks James. Yes, as a beginner in this genre I'm using a dslr and lens. Really looking forward to move towards telescope/h-alpha/astro cam imaging in the coming years.DeepSolar64 wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 2:34 pm Very nice work!! Re: 150 Days of Sun: All the Suns
Sorry about that. I had attached the image but it seems there are some issues with the higher-res image and it was not attached. Noticed it now. Attached a somewhat lower-res image.
The instagram link was given if anyonew as interested to look at other works of mine.
Thanks.
Best wishes

Thank you for the image now on SolaChat..
It's OK to post up to 2-Mbytes per image on SolarChat as JPEG's, as much higher will possibly cause our leader to have to allow paying-adverts on to the website to pay for the extra server-space... !!
Thanks for sharing

Re: 150 Days of Sun: All the Suns
Excellent, Soumyadeep. 150 days of Sun...incredible. I could do a study of 150 days of rain with so much rain here in the UK.
Have you considered making an animation of the series?
Stu.

Re: 150 Days of Sun: All the Suns
Stu,
Sorry to hear about the weather conditions in UK, its a really tough job to be an astrophotographer there.
Yes, I will create an animation. I have plan to create 4 images+animations from this set of data. Will definitely share them in the forum.
Best wishes
