Full disc and departing sun spot from the 29th of May

Post by AJamesB »

Okay seeing, hadn't been out for a while so good to get the scope out again. Full disc imaged, as well as the departing sunspot. As is customary I've gone for more magnification than my seeing really allows for:)

Also, I've really enjoyed all of ya all's shots of this region over the last several days! Always nice to have them available when I can't get out myself.

Full disc image is lunt 100ss with asi294mm and ROI, partial shot is asi294mm+4x telecentric+ROI, both images using best 25% of 500 frames.

Very nice.

Look a bit to the northeast in your full disc images and you will see a new plage there. Hopefully it will grow.

Good images. The little plage region does seem to be developing nicely.
