Sunday Sun May 30th 2021

Post by Carbon60 »

It has been glorious all day here (for a nice change) and this morning I managed to capture a few images before my seeing conditions deteriorated.

My main focus was AR2827, the new one that developed over recent days.

First up are my FDs in Ca II K and Ha and then the AR in Ha on my 150mm/DS Lunt 35 mod and the 250 mm RCT. I'm still tweaking with the RCT to get the best out of it.

Ha on the Lunt 60. I was struggling with this one (it was the end of the session).

Here's AR2827 on the 150 mod.

and on the 250 mm RCT.

I almost forgot to add this image of an eruptive prom from AR2824 as it rounds the limb.

That was it for today. Hopefully there's more to come tomorrow.

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

Excellent capture of the new AR, all lights and scopes. I think I know where your clouds went.

Lovely series, Stu.
I hope the new ARs grow rather than decay. Might have some decent imaging opportunities this coming week.
Cheers.

Great results Stu, that aperture stop on the Cak really makes a difference.
