An enjoyable day.
I used to use a web page that gave the name of any active regions but also gave an indication of how active they were and also it showed the ARs on the far side of the Sun. I just cannot find it again, any ideas?

Dave

Hello Dave,

Excellent captures and colouring too. Thanks for sharing...

https://www.spaceweatherlive.com/en/solar-activity.html shows the current data as well as the Heliographic, which shows as far round the bend to the east and west - as is possible. The second Stereo satellite for the far-side is non-operational since 2014 as STEREO-B, but STEREO-A is almost continuously operational 24/7...

(not to be confused with spaceweather.com which is usually 24-hours out of date)...

I trust that answers your question.

Regards
Terry

Great shots Dave :hamster: :bow

There are lots of sites for data, I use this one but the far side doesn't work anymore https://solarmonitor.org/
