AR 12827-12829 - Halpha
An inviting day for solar imaging with quite still air. AR12827 still looks interesting but seems now decayed compared to few days ago. In white light is disappointing but in H-alpha is a different object. Same for AR12829.
Modified Celestron XLT 100ED, ASI 178MM. Thanks for looking.

Ciao Raffaello and complimenti for the fantastic images!
How are you succeeding such a magnification with your Modified Celestron XLT 100ED. Barlow/Powermate of what maginification?
And how is it modified with a Lunt etalon?
All the best,
Alexandros

Re: AR 12827-12829 - Halpha
Thanks Alex, thanks Franco
the train is composed by Baader D-ERF 100 mm free aperture --> Celestron 100ED with Baader focuser --> Lunt 50THa PT module (no BF) --> 40 mm T2 extension --> T2/1.25 click-lock eyepiece holder --> Daystar Quark Chromosphere --> 0.35x reducer --> ASI 178MM. Actually it's not simply Lunt-mod, is Lunt-Daystar modified.
