AR12829 CaK 6th June

Post by marktownley »

Today started off with cloud and rain, before slowly turning to just cloud. By late afternoon it was breaking but what clouds were there weren't really moving anywhere in particular, and as usual hovvered around the sun with their shimmering edges of poor seeing. Anyway, patience paid off and I got this shot of AR12829. Taken with the 127/1200 stopped down to 60mm to give f20 with the ZWO290mm camera.

Did take other images but they were quite mushy in comparison. Hope you like this one!

Mark

Cracking images, Mark. Nice and crisp. Patience certainly did pay off.

Excellent work Mark despite the clouds.
How it comes so many times that they decide to stay just in front of the sun??? Murphy's law... ;-)
You beat them anyway!
Best wishes,
Alexandros

Thanks everyone! Hoping to drop in on a morning slot tomorrow before work. Fingers crossed it's clear and the seeing is ok.
