Re: Sun in H-Alpha 8th of June 2021
Thank you very much for all your kind comments!
Alexandra: Working from home makes it possible to utilize any short spell of sunshine during the day. For these FD images a short 10-15 minute break from work is enough to roll off the roof of the backyard observatory, slew to the Sun, take a few sequences, park the scope and close up the roof. :-)
Best regards,
Arne

Re: Sun in H-Alpha 8th of June 2021
Thank you Ivan!
No, it's not a mosaic. At 1000mm the ASI ZWO 1600mm PRO gives a field of 60' x 45' with a sampling of 0,78" per piksel. I usually crop to 45'x45' to save some diskspace when recording.
Best regards,
Arne
