Hello everyone,
So the main solar event of the year happened
We were all waiting for him and preparing. The weather, as always, played a cruel joke and until the last moment it was not clear whether we would see it or not?
I had a forecast with no options: rain and clouds. There were thoughts of leaving, but yesterday's clear evening gave hope, however, it was cloudy in the morning, but then a miracle happened and in the gaps between the clouds I managed to record several videos.
The maximum phase in Yaroslavl is 20%, the panorama is shot at about the maximum.
I also made a small animation, of course, with breaks, but that's all there is.
I hope you find it interesting.
Ivan

Re: Eclipse in Lunt50
Hello Ivan,
Wonderful images of the partial eclipse. Thank you for sharing.
I had 100% cloud cover so did a 70 mile dash to find some gaps in the clouds. I saw just about the same % of eclipse as your images. I was lucky enough to see from first contact right up to just before last contact when the clouds caught up with me!!

Great event nicely captured, Ivan! Congrats!
It was totally clowded and rainy here in Moscow yesterday, the only 250km away from you, but no gaps at all.
regards
Leo
