Heads Up 14th June
Hi all, not posted for several days but have been imaging/observing the sun. Been doing long awaited DIY to the house so processing has taken a back step. I've now nine days of data to process so probably won't post the processed images here but straight to the BAA solar section when done. Here however is todays activity. Wonderful proms in both Cak and HA plus the lovely new AR2833. Hope you'll all have a wonderful day. Ella.

Hi Ella, good to hear you are keeping busy with that DIY, but still keeping an eye on the Solar-side of things.
Much the same here, installing and programming the second computer in the observatory for a hi-res camera which only works on XP.
Anyhow as I've been starting work in the observatory at the ridiculous-hour of 5AM before it get to 40-degsC, with a very clear-sky today and actually took some images - as you have done so well today too of AR2833 etc.
Have a nice day and thanks vm for sharing
Regards
Terry

Re: Heads Up 14th June
I only managed to get CaK and HA before the cloud's came in. Then went back to the D.I.Y. lol. Hope you get some sun. At least you saw the partial eclipse, I was completely clouded out for that.

Re: Heads Up 14th June
Thanks Terry, yeah, I'm timing the DIY with the cloud cover and solar when I have an hour or two break in the clouds, lol. Means I've got the data but no time to process at the mo, lol. Hope your DIY is going well. Take care Ella.EGRAY_OBSERVATORY wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 9:59 am Hi Ella, good to hear you are keeping busy with that DIY, but still keeping an eye on the Solar-side of things.
