Full disk H-alpha on 20th June 2021

Post by cmas »

Still following the active region. Today there's also pretty nice protuberances. Most likely animation-worthy action! Unfortunately here we seemed to have some slight cloudiness going on and that shows in the image quality. Couldn't help myself however as these (almost) clear skies are not gonna last forever.

Very nice Full Disk Tommi!
You are right. The SE proms were very tempting today and originally I was almost convinced to start my animation in that area. Then I thought I should follow the active area one more day..., since I may focus onto proms when the AR is gone... I don't know if I was right. Perhaps not because the AR was not so active when I captured it today. Will see.
Hope and wish your clear skies last as much as possible!
Best wishes,
Alexandros
