Heads Up 22nd June

Post by Stardust5858 »

Looks like some activity heading our way on the North Eastern quadrant. Lovely proms and dark filaments today. Still some nice views of Ar2833. Hope everyone is having a nice day and keep safe.

Good on your assistant keeping you "under-check and control" Ella.
You've captured the first part of the new N.E. AR, although at present, looking at some hi-res images, it doesn't yet show any spots.

Thanks for your screenshots

Terry

Thanks Terry, no, I didn't notice any spot's with the new AR either. Hopefully as AR2833 disappears we'll have more activity coming to replace it.

Fine captures, Nigella, beautiful cat. My cats too love to stay with me while at the telescope.

I notice a new plage in the NE in your images. Hopefully this will amount to something.

Awww and I love your observing companion. A black furry one accompanies me a lot at the telescopes too!

It looks that way Mark. I've processed one FD cak and I might be mistaken but it looks like the AR has a spot.

I have only seen noctilucent clouds here once. They are rare at my latitude.
