6.07.2021 Gales and multilayered cloud!

Post by Rusted »

I am capturing through cloud and being blown about in the dome. Am I having fun yet? :D

Today's captures were too pretty to keep to myself. Image quality sadly indifferent.
Two beautiful disturbed areas, a prom and our favourite spot going west on holiday.

Thanks Franco. :bow

I kept trying but couldn't get even a 5 second video through the increasing cloud.
After providing all the fireworks, AR12835 should have had a better send off. :D

Thank you all for your encouragement. :bow
It has been a real struggle against the weather today. :D
There was more sun and cloud later and wind!

I hate to see AR12835 go. I have enjoyed that big spot group!

Nice results under challenging conditions, Chris. We've been having some really poor conditions here in much of the UK over the past week or so with the odd pocket of clear skies, but poor seeing. It's so frustrating.

Excellent pictures, the first photo from prom is a magical giant fountain of fire. The most recent photo with the disturbed region is stunningly detailed. Taking off my hat.

Thanks, everybody, for the kind words. :bow

I wish my images were better but the conditions just wouldn't allow it. :D

My home PC died today after 6 years of continuous use. So I have the laptop running my normal HD screen indoors.
My images look much better on the high res monitor in the observatory. Honestly they do!
