Some belated image of the Sun from July 3rd in different wavelengths
Dear friends,
Just as I thought I was starting to catch up on my image processing work and family obligations have put me even further behind.
Anyway, here are some images from July 3rd. A beautiful sunny saturday allowed me start imaging early while the seeing was still quite good.
I started out with some high-res imaging in H-Alpha using an Explore Scientific AR152, Baader Planetarium H-Alpha 35nm, DayStar Quark Chromosphere and ASI ZWO 174mm camera Solar prominences in H-Alpha 3rd of July 2021
Solar prominences in H-Alpha 3rd of July 2021
Solar prominences in H-Alpha 3rd of July 2021
Sun in H-Alpha 3rd of July 2021 - AR2835-36
I then moved on with some CaK imaging using William Optics ZenithStar 61II stopped down to 46mm, Lunt Cak 1200 module and ASI 178mm camera Sun FD in CaK 3rd of July 2021
Sun FD in CaK 3rd of July 2021 - colorized
2 pane mosaic using the same setup as above, but with a 2,5x PowerMate Sun in CaK 3rd of July 2021
Sun in CaK 3rd of July 2021 - colorized
The seeing started to deteriorate, but I managed a WL image of AR2835-36 using a Celestron 9.25XLT, Baader full size photographic filter, Baader Continuum filter, 2x PowerMate and ZWO ASI 174mm camera Sun in WL 3rd of July 2021 - AR2835-36
I ended the imaging session with H-Alpha FD image the Takahashi Sky-90II with Coronado 90mm/BF15, Coronado 2x CeMax and ASI 1600mm PRO Sun FD in H-Alpha 3rd of July 2021

Thanks for looking,
Arne

Thank you Alexandra, Val, James, Ivan and Chris for your kind words!
Alexandra: Yes, AR 2835 was an interesting region.
Ivan: That's the one I'm most happy with as well :-)
Chris: I do think I've been lucky and got a good sample!
Best regards,
Arne
