Heads Up 23rd July

Post by Stardust5858 »

Hi all, screenshots of todays activity. AR's still putting on a nice performance. AR2842/45 disappearing of the disk on the western limb but AR2846/47/48 and 49 still nice today still all with spots, most appear to be singular small spots except AR2846.. looks like a new plage on the NE limb coming onto the disk. Some nice proms in both Cak and HA.

Nice overview of todays activity Ella, too much cloud / haze for me to bother today. Think it will a trip to the pub later on for a beer and natter with the lads instead...

Thanks Mark, you need a pub garden, lol. Kill two birds with one stone. I've made a little pub garden next to the obsy, lol.

Thanks Alexandra, even though I'm not quite recovered it'll probably be several days before I get some clear sky again so I popped out to the obsy before the clouds rolled in.

Lol, i've got one of those, but friday is always a down to the 'local' - creatures of habit we are! They don't have the beer from my local in my garden, the bottled version is not the same as hand pull...

I have a lot of haze here today too. More clouds too but I might be able to get a session in. Thanks for the heads-up, Ella.

Hopefully you'll get a session James. I've thunderstorms from tonight so I'll have to see what will transpire over the next few days.

I got a decent session in. I posted it just a little while ago. We are forecast for thunderstorms here over the weekend too.
