Solar Full Disk in Ha - 27th September 2021
Fishing in the gaps this afternoon and my mosaic shows a few inconsistencies as a result of variable seeing between scudding clouds (just missed a heavy shower, thankfully). Afternoon imaging isn't the best, especially as we're heading into the back end of the year, so optimal definition is lacking. Anyhow, here's the Sun as of Monday 27th September with four main active regions, including the larger one (AR12871) as it heads towards the south western limb.

Very nice Stu. Your images easily show more detail than I can see visually.

An excellent full disk Stuart
I can barely see the mosaic variances, so your processing is excellent!

Re: Solar Full Disk in Ha - 27th September 2021
Thanks Alexandra….it has taken a lot of effort to improve on my Ha FDs. Bob’s mod has really helped (thanks Bob). Beforehand my triple stacked images suffered from banding more often than not.
We certainly did have some heavy showers yesterday and storms over the hills. They’re back again today
