Hi All,
I attempted imaging with my 60mm guidescope with a Quark chromosphere filter and ASI174mm.
Well it was cloudy, after my prolonged attempts at various focusing setups and Barlows/reducers, I had to settle on one without any reducers or barlows or tilt adaptors.I had Newton rings, so after hours of trial and error, I seemed to get 1 image which was ok. I think the clouds made the flat calibration difficult.
Here is my 3/4 of a sun:
My dropbox site has the fullsize.

Now I have to write down, what I did to process it all, it took some time.
All the best,
Magnus

Surprised you even got any Sun-views today in the London area Magnus, but well done on your efforts.
The surface detail has shown-up very well.

Thanks Terry for your compliments.
It has taken me all almost 8 hours to get to this single image. Anyway, next time it will be easier !
London was cloudy, with short breaks of sun !
Magnus.

Thanks Magnus.
I'm in Essex-land and was working outside and never say a glimmer of the Sun, but hey, another day...
Cheers

That's a great image the mono seems a little dark but the colour is fine. It was sunny all day in Lyme Regis I think this is because I chose not to bring my PST
