Get well soon Stephen! from everyone at Solarchat!

Post by Montana »

I know Stephen hates fuss but can we all give him some virtual hugs and some love today. He is currently having 7hr spinal surgery which is not nice. It would be nice to send him tonnes of love when he wakes up :)

Get well soon Stephen, we all love you very much, get strong quickly and I hope all your pain is taken away and you are back up and doing outreach again very soon. You are a hero :hamster: :bow

Update:

Stephen is now back home and much better after 3 days in. The op was a success, but I think he is in great pain and on a lot of drugs for the moment.

You have my sympathies Stephen. Back pain (and surgeries) are the absolute worst. I’ve broken so many different bones, cut off digits, had so many surgeries. Nothing compared to back pain!
Our thoughts are with you.

Stephen, best wishes for a speedy recovery. Don’t be shy about those pain killers. They sure helped the mental aspects of my own recovery from hip surgery.

Thank you very much. I was in hospital for three days of the worst pain I have ever experienced. Today is the one week anniversary of the surgery and I am able to walk down the stairs and around the driveway in very short steps for a short time.
This was originally from an accident in the military and has just gotten steadily worse with the years so it was time to have something more serious done to remedy it.
