Terrific shots Arne the CaK is very interesting when you learn to read the full disc. There are regions of disturbance in the super granulation along the active bands. These disturbances occur around 4 weeks before an active region develops and many weeks after the decay of one. We can see lots of disturbances there, but we don't know if they are the ghosts of ARs future or past

You produce some pretty amazing full disks, Arne ! Is your Solarmax single stack or double ?

Thank you all for your kind comments!
Franco:
It's a single stack SolarMax anno 2008 with an upgraded Moonlite focuser and a replacement Beloptik ITF in the BF15 unit.
Best regards,
Arne
