Norway - all-sky-camera show Aurora currently as the attached image (might) show.
Presumably this might be the big show from AR2887...

Perhaps this X-flare is turning out to be a damp squib I think. We need to see Stuart's magnetometer data to see when it actually hits or not. I am starting to wonder where it got to.

I seriously believe that the timing from inception of AR2887 flaring, could well be causing Aurora occurring from last-night through the daylight hours wherever it occurs and that could well be part of that Aurora shown above Norway.
Some cameras are cloud-covered, so not showing anything yet...

Thanks Maurits and comparing with last night display, this one this evening is far more active and beautiful.
Continuously active since early evening when I started monitoring it has been all greens, some blue and some reds,
so fairly certainly is the result of the CME from AR2887 on Thursday.
Could, of course, been occurring during the day too...

Thanks Alan and yes a tad too far south, but hey at least you can see almost live imaging with about two minutes delay from Norway.
Cheers

Well at 23:00z Sunday 31-10-2021, it would seem that all the available clear all-sky cameras are no longer showing any amount of Aurora - believed to have been emanated from the CME of Thursday 28-1-2021 from AR2887.
So going-off Aurora Watch tonight.
Thanks for looking at these events over the last 30-hours...
Good night from Him
