AR2891 HAS JUST FLARED THIS MORNING 2-11-2021

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

AR2891 in the North-Central hemisphere, has exploded earlier this morning as the web-link shows.

The position of that AR means that another Earth-bound Aurora is very likely in 2-3 days... :bow

Terry,
I got the alert on my phone on this one very late Monday evening in my time zone. It was an M class event. That's a nice SDO animation you have found!
