The bright ring around the spot in AR12893 is visible in both of your CaK images.

Great images, Alan! Very interesting formations inside of the spot - light bridges cross the umbra of this spot.

The Celestron C6R 150/1200 achromat. It is not as well corrected as my 102f11 achromat in the UV.marktownley wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 7:44 pm These are all excellent Alan! What 150/8 scope are you using?

Re: 11-6-21: Cak and Continuum
Thanks. I have been trying to adjust my capture and processing to better show umbral details but keeping good granulation. I really liked the umbral dots and light bridge in this image.VasilevIvan wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 7:49 pm Great images, Alan!
