Session time is from 16:10 until 16:30 UTC. The skies are overcast with high thin clouds. Fair seeing. The temperature is 54F ( 12.2C )
Orion 70mm Solar Telescope. 25x and 50x ( WL )
AR12896 is visible as a single small spot now in the SW quadrant with a small pore to it's SE. I see no penumbra associated with the spot. AR12897 just west of the CLM is visible also by a single small spot. I see no sign of a penumbra with it either.
I see a patch of faculae well inside the SE limb and another facula well inside the SW limb. No spots or pores are seen in any of these.
The granulation is weakly visible.
Carpe Diem!
James

You are welcome, Terry. I barely got the chance myself and a short time later the clouds had gotten too thick to see the Sun at all.

I am sure you did better on your Ha images than I did with white light today. There is not a lot to see on the photosphere.
