Sol from the 4th of December 2021.

Post by eroel »

Hi:
Well a nice sunny day with horrible seeing, but got some images in CaK and Ha.
The jumping seeing did not help specially on the HR shots with the 102mm Stellarvue and the Daystar-Tscanner filter working at f/28.
Thanks for looking, specially the Arch prominence shots because it changed rapidly.
Wish you all a safe and nice sunny Sunday.
Eric.

A superb series of images Eric :bow

The image quality is excellent despite the seeing. I really like dynamic changes you captured in that loop prom!

These came out well despite the non-favorable seeing. Well done, Eric!

Mark, Franco, Warren, Terry, Brian and Arne:
Thank you all for commenting, it looks like the seeing in my place has changed a bit, before it was much better so it is harder to get some reasonable images.
What I don´t understand, is why my CaK shots with my regular to bad seeing now show a bit more prominences.
Have a safe and sunny new week.
Eric.

Super images, especially like how you are able to image the CaK proms and H-alpha slinky loops.

Very nice work Eric! That area ( AR12898 ) had a number of flares yesterday and the day before and I was clouded out and missed them and that beautiful loop. But thanks to you I got to see it anyway.
