Nice morning to image! 12/14/2021

Also special since it is my granddaughters 7th birthday today! Gorgeous blue sky today, no wind and decent seeing! Also working on a 90 minute animation of that Eastern Limb where a new spot is just now rotating into view and it looks large than anything else on the surface at the moment. You can just see it in the CaK closeup posted below. It was sending up a number of surge proms so will be interested to see how the animation turns out.

Thanks all! First go at the animation was not bad, quite a bit of activity but trying to stabilize it a bit better. Hopefully finish it up tomorrow.

Very nice work, Warren. Your lower two images clearly show that the prominences on the SW limb are a part of a group of nice filaments seen over the last two or three days.
