Very nice indeed, Eric. That chain of sunspots looks very promising for solar flares in the coming days.

Re: Sol from the 15th of December 2021.
Eric,
Your image illustrates well what I could see today but better. How the chromosphere interacts with the strong magnetic fields in those active regions. The swirls and pushing out and away of the spicules around those zones. It's like a downdraft spreading out grass in a field. Or a downdraft fanning the flames. How ever you look at it. It's simple yet complex around those areas. Beautiful. And your images show this excellently. Easily better than I can see visually. Have you ever thought about colorizing any of your images?
Nice work!!
James

Alexandra and Guys:
Thanks for looking and commenting, BTW here is the SSM of that session, as you can see the input was very low, it should be at 0.8 at my home observatory when sky is sunny and clean.
I also forgot to say, that the first image of the HR sunspot chain was processed less harsh than the others, so would like to know what type of processing looks better.
James, many years ago I used to colorize my Ha and CaK images, but I forgot how, think I used Maxim DL pseudo color tool.
Have you all a nice weekend.
Eric.
