WOW,WOW,WOW,WOW AND NOW AR2910 TOO - 16-12-2021
I'm fast running-out of WOW's for what is happening on our Sun today.
Six AR's as:- AR2905, AR2906, AR2907, AR2908, AR2909 and the NEWBIE = AR2910 in the NORTH-CENTRAL REGION.
As many as 52 (yes fifty-two) spots are being reported by SpaceweatherLive.
C-Class flares are known to be coming from AR2907 at least.
AND WHY NOT = Another Active Region is appearing over the N.E.Limb and initially appears to have its' own spots too...
Spectacular and well interesting as the developments increase.
What more can I add ???
Well, prominences have flat-lined somewhat, but with the surface action, who cares today at least...
Finally, for my location at least in S.East England, I wish this very-high pressure region would quickly disappear - as it leaving a blanket of non-moving cloud above
Such is life, but I would at least like to get a visual-glimpse of the darkened Sun.
CLEAR SKIES, CLEAR SKIES, CLEAR SKIES please..
Terry

Thank you, Terry, very exciting. Now all we need is some fair weather and some free time to image.

I think you have summed-up very well about the seeing (or lack of) Franco.
Let's hope that others will get decent views and imaging too..
Thanks

Exciting is the word of the day James. Quite an unusual sight which has appeared so quickly too.

Thank you, Terry to alarm us. Really fantastic event. I always dreamed about this - to see it myself. Too bad - no weather here.

Thanks Valery and I wish you some clear skies to see this fairly rare event of late.
In fact "Wish Upon A Star" might put things correct...
Yes Simon - quite likely the north will join the south in displaying spots...

I still think Solar Cycle 25 may end up busier than Solar Cycle 24 was.

Thanks James and you could be correct.
Thanks Alexandra and you also could be correct.
Yes Maurits - makes a massive-change from the recent sleepy disk.
Cheers Christian and I hope the wind and cloud disappear soon and you might be able to give us an excellent capture of the action.
Terry ps there is much more to come very soon...!!
