Southern Spot lineup!

Post by DeepSolar64 »

Today I have clouds and rain and am outta action plus I have some Christmas shopping to do. So I checked out the SDO images today for a view and edited this high resolution close up. It's nice to see so many spots!

It sounds nice outside of the clouds? Do you ever make wassail for Christmas? It's a wonderful spicey tea like mulled cider drink that really fits the holidays. It can be with or without alcohol.

No, but I make lovely mulled wine in the slow cooker. 1 bottle of the hubby brew red wine, sliced orange, cinnamon stick, 2 star anise and a shot of brandy. On low for 2hrs. Delightful!! and not full of sugar like the commercial varieties :) I'll make more tomorrow I am sure :)

Yours sounds similar to wassail but I don't think wine is an ingredient in it. I think it's liquor that's used. I bet yours is very good!!

It's great that these AR's are lining up and parading beautifully across the disc :) It's cloudy and snowy here. I had just returned from my parents and, before leaving, I had been cleaning the car of snow for a long time.

I feel for you, Ivan. I'll post today's report in a little while. Hopefully I can give you a decent view of what is going on since you cannot see it for yourself. The solstice is close at hand and afterwards the days will slowly lengthen.

Blessings,

James
