A sunny day (well, morning at least) which makes a nice change at this time of year. I started with the 150mm mod to try to get some close up views of the action before the seeing went 'south'. Lucky I did, within a few minutes of getting on target I could see things getting worse. Not too much of a problem for the FDs, but it cut short my session on the 150.

The active regions are looking resplendent, with a little minor flaring by the looks of things.

Many thanks, Alexandra. Sorry to hear about the fog. I wasn’t expecting to see the Sun at all today, so it was really a pleasant surprise. I must admit, I did have my fingers crossed for you when I was out on my driveway, but clearly it didn’t work.

Absolutely perfect captures Stu and how lucky you were to get a seeing at all.

You've also captures the newbie - now numbered AR2912 in The S.E., as the single spot, making a total of 44-spots in all of the 7-AR's and still leaving a possible further spotty area in the far N.E.

That's a very nice run of images Stuart. You have the Sun covered excellently in two lights. The high resolution Ha images are really nice too! I can use your Ha images along with GONG as guide images for my observations this afternoon if these clouds will clear out.
