Dec 19 2021 - Tried for half disc - failed!

Post by Simon2940 »

I was hoping to get a good high res half disc but ended up with a lot of bad frames. Even though seeing was 4/5, it was in constant flux and a lot of the data was just blurred and unusable in the end.

At least the good bits came out!

I hardly call this a failure. What you did capture is just wonderful. This is so far above my visual views. Two thumbs up!!

What superb detail!! :bow

During my last two attempts at imaging the seeing was so mushy I couldn't even achieve sharp focus. <sniff>
