A bird on the sun

Post by jacinto »

A bit of Venezuelan humor ...,
Silhouette of a condor crossing the solar disk while making a capture, the envious will say that it is a vulture

The nearest I can assume the bird as, is a Vulcan (don't know a thing about birds), but alas, there are no more of those flying anywhere and certainly not a motorbike either...

Excellent capture Jacinto and thanks for sharing

Hola Jacinto,

Well done. I second that it is a Condor ... a vulture does not spread the tail in flight ... IMHO

We have no Condors in Mexico but plenty of Vultures which we call here Zopilote

I do indeed love this :hamster: :hamster: :hamster: and what is even better is the height of the Condor. Not many bird transits are in focus as they are too low, this is perfect as it is so far away and in focus :bow :bow :bow having neither Vultures or Condors in the UK I am not experienced to know the difference, but I shall certainly look it up :)

Looks great! Try and keep file size attachments to 1Mb or less to try and save server space on the forum thanks.
