27 Dec - Glad to put out the small telescopes for a 3-wavlength full-disk imaging.

Is it my imagination or do I see a faint trail following the bird? Could it be a camera artifact? Condensation caused by the bird's passing through the atmosphere? Planes do that! Or is it merely my brain's processing error?

It seems easier to see when the bird enters the disc. I doubt myself here. It's very faint. It may be some sort of optical illusion.

Hi James,

You are right!! I reviewed the video and connfirmed the trail following the bird. The trail was more evident when the bird entered the disc. I have no idea what caused it. May be some one can share a thought on it?

My guess on the cause of the trail - camera is sensitive enough to pick up photons disturbance due to turbulence caused by bird flight?
