AR2924 IN THE S.E.QUADRANT + ANOTHER BEHIND 5-1-2022

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

The latest SDO Hi-Resolution image shows the latest AR as 2924 in the S.E. and another AR is directly following at the limb-edge itself.

Prominences are still a little quiet and shallow - so far today.

CLEAR SKIES
Terry

Thanks Terry :) beautiful sunshine again today. Amazing how all over Christmas it was thick cloud and the first two days back at work are fabulous blue sky days. It has to be more than a coincidence ;) there is a definite conspiracy

How are your eyes these days, have you managed to have the operation you needed?
Alexandra

Thanks Alexandra and yes of course "conspiracy" or "coincidence" is the question.. Could even be both...
Totally blue sky here too, but still too-low for the mini-obsy and for WL & Sodium, not too much to gather.

Thanks to the maximum COVID-risk area surrounding me, it is unwise to do anything with regards to hospital/eye-clinics - unless absolutely necessary, regardless of jabs. Unfortunately another serious problem also requiring hospitalisation is about to be refused for the time being at least...
My hospital are already making mistakes again, probably due to the pressure and shortage of staffing being just two reasons.

Thanks for asking

Terry
