TWO LARGE AR's APPROACHING THE EASTERN LIMB - 7-1-2022

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

Another large awakening of our Sun, is about to begin this weekend. :bow

AR2924 is certainly growing in size and may well produce something interesting soon. :beanie:

Proms are fairly flat-lined so far, but keeping a watch on the Eastern-Limb could well produce some excellent flares as prominences. :(

The Stereo image shows well the two approaching AR's, which hopefully will keep us busy over the next two weeks or so... :hamster:

Terry

Thanks for the heads up, Terry.

Just need some clear skies. It isn’t looking promising here over the next week :(

That's absolutely correct Stu, as the charts are showing a mixed-bunch of weather until 120hrs/5-days/Wednesday - when a high-pressure might take-over, but far-too early for that to be accurate...

We can only hope James for you to get a glimpse of Old Sol - at least...

Thanks
Terry
